We are enthusiastic to make your year at Dance Etc. rewarding, creative and enjoyable.  We hope the following information will answer any questions you may have regarding our school.  If we may be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us at 978-360-7988 or email: missjody@comcast.net.

Required Dance Attire:  Dance attire for all students will consist of a black leotard, pink tights, black tap shoes (Ages 3-6:  patten leather with ribbons replaced with black elastic, ages 7 & up:  "u-buckle or maryjane), pink ballet shoes with elastic, black jazz shoes.  Full names should be written in all dance shoes as well as bags, etc.  Ballet skirts, jazz pant and dance shorts are allowed.NO regular street clothing!  Hair must be worn up, pulled off of face and neck.  Jewelry could be a danger, so we prefer that none be worn during class.  This dress code will be strictly enforced.  DEPT dress code different.

Dance Store: Please visit our on-site dance store for all your dancing needs at discounted prices.  Our store offers quality dancewear for ALL disciplines.  You can find ballet, jazz, and tap shoes, leotards, skirts, tights, dance shorts, jazz pants, and much, much more. Private appointments available. Call Miss Jody at 978-360-7988.

Cancellations-Snow Days:  A makeup class will be offered for snow days.  No credits will be issued.  A message regarding class cancellations will be on the studio answering machine one hour before class begins that day.  It is likely that if there is no school, then dance classes will be cancelled as well, but please call or text miss Jody a 978-360-7988 or email at missjody@comcast.net. Cancellations will also be posted on Facebook, also, an All-School email will be sent is classes are cancelled.

Visiting Days: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold visiting days at this time.

Check Return Policy: There will be a charge of $25.00 for every check returned to the school.  Cash or money orders may be required thereafter.

Fundraisers: offered to students who would like to participate. Profits from each student’s sales will be put towards their individual costume account.  This is an excellent opportunity to reduce the cost of your costumes.  We encourage you to give it a try, you will be delighted.  

Dance Club: Join us once a month on a Saturday from 5-8pm for dancing, pizza and a movie. All siblings and friends are welcome. Ages 4+ $20.00 per person prepaid…$25.00 at the door. Sign up at the desk each month. Join the fun!!

Registration fee before June 1--$25 per student

Open House/ Registration: Saturday September 2nd and 9th 10am – Noon

TUITION DATES

Tuition is due the weeks of:

#2 …..  Week of November 13th

#3…...  Week of January 22nd

#4…...  Week of March 18th

Please note:  You do not pay for vacation time.

COSTUME DEPOSITS

Costume Deposits will be due anytime during the month of November.  The amount of $30 per dance discipline (i.e. $30 for ballet, $60 for ballet & tap, $90 for ballet, tap & jazz, etc….).  The remaining balances will be due in February.  Costume deposits are non-refundable.  It is essential that costume deposits be made ON TIME to ensure your child’s costumes will be ordered and received on time.  Costumes will not be handed out to students unless ALL costume and tuition payments have been paid in full.
