Dance Etc... was established in 1982. For 41 years, we've had the great pleasure of introducing hundreds of our community's children to the wonderful world of dance. Our dance school thrives on a family-oriented atmosphere, and we believe strongly that children respond best to lessons that are taught with love.
We offer lessons in all disciplines including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop, acrobatics, and modern/contemporary. It is a joy for us to be a small part of our students' lives as we watch their continued physical and emotional growth throughout their years with us.
Our experienced and professionally trained staff lead classes designed for ages 2 and up, from beginner to competitive level.
Our goal is to teach your children the art of dance in a loving, nurturing environment while having fun, gaining self-confidence, working as a team, and cultivating life-long friendships.
Our competition team, D.E.P.T. (Dance Etc. Performance Troupe), travels throughout the Northeast, attending dance competitions and conventions, earning trophies and learning the latest techniques and skills. They also performing at local venues such as the Topsfield Fair, Middleton Gets Moving, and the Middleton Pumpkin Festival, and do a Christmas Tour, visiting local seniors to share their love of dance with the community.
Additionally, our studio offers popular favorites such as a monthly Dance Club and birthday parties.
our schedule closely follows the Middleton school calendar from September to May. Our year culminates with fabulous performances by our dancers at our annual recital.

Please note that we have a convenient, on-site dance store at our 70 Essex St., Middleton studio to accommodate all of your dancing needs including shoes, leotards, tights, gifts, and more...all at discounted prices! Email for an appointment for individual sizing or assistance.
